Each Silver Runner Rider can enjoy being transported to medical appointments, errands, private outings, or anywhere they would like to go in one of our luxury vehicles. All transportation is offered with our “door-thru-door” service (at no extra charge) creating a unique experience in which our Mobility Managers manage all aspects of the transport; allowing the rider to have peace of mind that everything (who, what, when & how) is accounted for and can just sit back and enjoy the ride. Riders can either be picked up and dropped off, or accompanied by one of our mobility managers. Mobility Managers are well trained in order to provide different levels of assistance to each rider depending on their needs.
Our accompaniment service is designed to add another layer of safety, quality, and assurance.This is designed for those riders and families who like to have a companion sit with them at the doctor’s office, wait while they’re in their appointment, or accompany them to the movies, museum, symphony, gym, golf course, Lobo game, or any other event of their choosing.
Enjoy a Quality of Life/Private Outing
Some Riders might enjoy going to the Symphony or to a Restaurant, while others, might utilize this service to go Golfing, attending a lecture, going to the theatre, to the Gym, or to Santa Fe. It is up to each person to define where their Private Outing will take them.
Accompanied by one of our well-trained Mobility Managers, The Silver Runner Riders can schedule a fun private outing in order to enhance their Quality of Life. These private outings are focused on providing each individual with an activity that they planned and that they want to go on. These outings aren’t pre-set trips for an individual to choose from, but rather, an opportunity for individuals to tell us where they want to go and when. However, The Silver Runner does have a set calendar of events in which individuals or groups can sign up to attend.
The Silver Runner is excited to offer transportation and outing services to the senior population of New Mexico. The Monthly Experience program is a set calendar of fun events. These outings help to create a Silver Runner Community that can participate in monthly social and intellectually challenging outings.
